Hemas Pharmaceuticals: Standardizing Field Force Operations Across 30+ Agencies

A Progressive Web App and native field-force solution connecting Medical Representatives, agencies, and Salesforce-based backend operations across Hemas' pharma distribution network.

Hemas Pharmaceuticals runs its field force through 30+ independently operated agencies — which meant 30+ slightly different ways of reporting a visit, escalating a bug, or reconstructing what an MR actually did that day. The fix had to standardize without forcing a single agency to become the bottleneck.

Before & after

What changed

Before

  • Field visit and reporting processes spread across 30–40 agencies with no standardized issue-escalation process
  • No structured SOP for how app/support issues from agencies reached the Nanostuffs technical team
  • Manual or inconsistent geotagging of customer visits, no reliable way to reconstruct an MR's day (locations visited, distance covered)

After

  • Unified MR field-force app live across 30+ agencies with agency-level rollout support
  • Formal SOP designed for issue management, with Hemas IT as the single bridge between agencies and the Nanostuffs tech team — clean escalation path instead of ad-hoc reporting
  • Checkpoint-based geotagging model: GPS-accurate location capture at DCR submission, day-start check-in, and app-resume triggers — giving Hemas an honest, field-realistic reconstruction of MR activity
  • Actively expanding into a full OneSFA implementation on Salesforce — extending from MR-only to Sales Rep, ASM/RSM, Dispatcher/Collector/Van, and Retailer-facing apps, plus a Loyalty Portal

Rather than centralizing everything through Nanostuffs directly, Hemas IT became the single bridge between agencies and the tech team — a clean escalation path that scales as more agencies come online, instead of ad-hoc reporting per agency.

What we built

Solution pillars

Multi-agency rollout

One platform standardized across 30+ independent agencies.

Field-accurate geotagging

GPS-grade location capture at every key moment of an MR's day.

Clear support SOP

A single, auditable escalation path from agency → Hemas IT → Nanostuffs, replacing scattered issue reporting.

Salesforce-native growth path

Built to extend cleanly into a full OneSFA suite as Hemas scales beyond MR into full sales-force automation.

Standardizing 30+ agencies on one platform and one support SOP changed how we operate. Issue escalations are no longer scattered — Hemas IT has a clear bridge to Nanostuffs, and we can finally reconstruct what our MRs are doing in the field with GPS-grade accuracy.
