Dynamic and Static cid Concept

Hi All,

If you would like,a new prospect that is created through form handler to become a campaign member after the sync with CRM then you can use the concept of “Static” or “Dynamic” cid.

Static campaign ID would be hard coded into your form’s code while in case of dynamic, you will need to provide a specific campaign ID through the URL. Below is the example to accomplish the concept of dynamic cid :

http://test.com/contact-us/?cid=7016F0000014n6Y

The code that you can use into your form for using static and dynamic cid is given below :

<script>

<script>$(document).ready(function() {

var params = (new URL(document.location)).searchParams;

var cid = params.get(“cid”);

if(cid)

{ document.getElementById(‘cid’).value=cid; }

else

{ document.getElementById(‘cid’).value=’7016F0000014nJm’; }});

</script>

Thank you !!!

Adding Prospects to SF Campaign

Hello All,

I had a query while working on one of my project where client wanted that prospects to be created through Pardot forms should automatically be synced with a salesforce campaign in SF.

Update the lead (details submitted), create a task and add the lead to a campaign.

Solution : This can be achieved through Automation Rules. In Pardot, Automation Rules are repeatable, criteria based rules that find matching prospects and apply actions to them. This would be applicable for a lead and contact.

Marketing > Automation > Automation Rules > Click on Add Automation Rules > Fill the Required Details

Rules :

Prospect CRM status…………………is……………………Lead

Or

Prospect CRM status………………….is……………………Contact

Actions :

Create Salesforce Task

>Click on Add new Action

Add to Salesforce Campaign………..Test………………..Sent
