I had a query while working on one of my project where client wanted that prospects to be created through Pardot forms should automatically be synced with a salesforce campaign in SF.
Update the lead (details submitted), create a task and add the lead to a campaign.
Solution : This can be achieved through Automation Rules. In Pardot, Automation Rules are repeatable, criteria based rules that find matching prospects and apply actions to them. This would be applicable for a lead and contact.
Marketing > Automation > Automation Rules > Click on Add Automation Rules > Fill the Required Details
Rules :
Prospect CRM status…………………is……………………Lead
Or
Prospect CRM status………………….is……………………Contact
Actions :
Create Salesforce Task
>Click on Add new Action
Add to Salesforce Campaign………..Test………………..Sent
