List Email Reports: Adding columns and filters

Unlike all the reports that are available in pardot, in list email  report we can add /remove/rearrange the columns in the table along with adding additional filters.

The standard fields that we can see includes fields such as name, sent date and count, bounces, delivery rate, total and unique clicks, unique CTR, campaign, tags. The other fields that pardot provides are: spam complaints, hard bounces, soft bounces, queued , opt outs, delivered, unique opens, open rate, total clicks etc.

To add additional columns click on funnel icon on the extreme right and click on ‘Columns’.

You can filter these columns by specific criteria too. For that you will have to click on the funnel icon next to the name
of each column and click on ‘Add filter’.

You can reset the table to its default columns and with no filters by clicking on the tools button and selecting ‘Reset table to default’.

As with all the reports you can do a CSV export of only the columns that you can view in the table or a full CSV export to get all the columns.

Pardot takes 30 minutes to record duplicate activities.

You might have come across scenarios where consecutive submission of the same form (even if it’s with different values for fields other than the email field) or submitting multiple forms which are using the same form handler,  a) Did not increment the score of the prospect even though the score is supposed to increment by a particular value every time a form is submitted, b) Under prospect activity only one entry of the multiple form submissions is made.

However, if you do the same activity after a span of 30 minutes the entry is reflected and the score is incremented.

This is because when a prospect completes duplicate activities, Pardot will log the activity under the “Prospect Activities“ column only if 30 minutes have passed between the two activities. Pardot will however accept each form submission and update the prospect record with values of the fields which are there on the form as per last form submission (depending on your fields setting by the name of ” Record Multiple Responses”) .

For example, if a prospect submits a form multiple times at 6:00, 6:10, 6:20, 6:30, 6:40, 6:50, and 7:00, there would be seven submissions total, but only three activities would be recorded (at 6:00, 6:30, and 7:00). These 3 activities would show on the main prospect record, under “Prospect activities” on the right. Similarly, the form submission score will be incremented 3 times only.

In such scenarios you can use completion actions on forms and form handlers to adjust score as they will fire for each submission (unless they’re throttled).  To know which completion actions are throttled you can refer the link below:

Unfortunately, the time limit of 30 minutes to record the duplicate prospect activity will still apply.
